Tanzania is still struggling with the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. Also, inflation is much worse than in the United States. Basic food prices continue to increase. Global warming has led to droughts and flooding. In the normally wet coastal areas where our urban and rural programs are based, decreased rainfall has created more hardship. Since over 14 million people are already trying to survive on less than $0.85/family member/day, other critical needs such as health and school costs go unmet.

As we enter our 20th partnership year with Tanzania, our accomplishments together are remarkable.
