Despite local Tanzania and global challenges, Health Tanzania and its partners continue to serve needy Tanzanians. Unfortunately, the National Health Insurance is still reimbursing the faith-based and other nongovernmental health facilities below the standard rates. Despite the decreases and delays in Tanzanian health insurance payments, Buguruni Anglican Health Centre continues to provide quality care for thousands of patients.
We are constantly looking for volunteers, both short- and long-term, to help in the U.S. and in Tanzania.
